> How can I and/or my children become involved?
There are several ways that you as a parent or carer can contribute to the Primary Review. Here are some of them:
• Write something yourself, individually, and send it to us by post or email.
• Discuss the issues with other local parents/carers/friends and prepare a joint submission.
• Talk to your child and other family members, and make a family submission.
• Talk to your child's school or PTA about encouraging a full discussion, or ask them to co-ordinate the task of collecting parents' and carers' views.
If you want some suggestions about ways of working with your child's school and/or other parents and carers, go to:
Evidence > Involving parents and children
Evidence > Setting up your own Primary Review Forum
You can send your ideas and evidence to us by post or email. But whatever you choose to do, it will help if you use this website to find out more about the Review first.
To find out how to submit evidence, go to:
Evidence > How you can submit evidence.
Let’s hear from you, and from your children. You don’t need to cover all ten themes – that would be a mammoth task. Select just the themes and questions that particularly interest or concern you. Note that among them are two themes on which your views will be particularly welcome: Theme 7 - Parenting, Caring and Educating, and Theme 8 - Beyond the School. Both are concerned with children’s lives outside school and how they relate to their education. There may also be important issues that we haven't included: we want to hear about them, too.
If you have any queries, email us at enquiries@primaryreview.org.uk or phone us on 01223 767523.
To submit evidence email it as an attachment to evidence@primaryreview.org.uk or post it to The Administrator, The Primary Review, University of Cambridge Faculty of Education, 184 Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 8PQ.
Please remember: although the deadline for submissions has passed, you are welcome to get in touch if you have further ideas or evidence you believe we should know about. Contact details are here.
